Steve Shaffer has played key roles in finance, operations and business development for high growth technology companies and was part of the investor group that provided initial funding to launch Jobs2web. Shaffer's experience includes public accounting (Grant Thornton) and manufacturing (Sara Lee). Most recently he served as CFO & VP of Business Development for Harland Medical Systems, a venture backed medtech company. Shaffer holds an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a B.A.in philosophy from Wheaton College. He also passed the CPA exam in 1994.

Doug Berg is Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Minneapolis-based Jobs2web and is an expert in online recruiting strategies. Doug has worked with hundreds of companies to leverage the internet for recruiting on the Web, and is a pioneer in the interactive recruiting industry. Prior to Jobs2web, Doug founded techies.com which was a leading technology career site which had nearly 1 million IT professional members nationally, and won PC Weeks number 1 career website in 1999. Doug was also founder and CEO of Quantum Consulting & Placement, a Minneapolis based IT consulting and placement services company. Doug is frequently quoted in the press on workforce and career related trends including major publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Business 2.0 and is a featured speaker/presenter at HR and technology conferences, and holds an honorary Doctorate Degree from Capella University.
Director of Alliances & International
Peter Brasket is a co-founder of Jobs2web and is a leader in business development, sales, channel development and corporate management in the fast-growth technology industry. He has extensive experience in e-commerce, staffing, advertising, and online promotion. Before helping to found Jobs2web, Peter was a leader at techies.com, a national technology careers site, where his business and corporate development efforts helped grow registered membership to nearly 1 million technology professionals in three years. Peter's international focus (he speaks fluent Japanese) helped him create and drive a highly successful channels program for Gartner Group, an international leader in IT analysis. Peter has also built channels, led offshore engineering projects and managed other overseas ventures for J3 Learning and Varitronics.
Matt Park has over 20 years successful sales leadership experience, including 9 years in the Talent Management software area. Most recently at Softscape for 7 years until it was acquired by SumTotal in 2010, Matt led the sales organization through a period of rapid expansion, growing Talent Management software sales from $5M to over $35M. During that time he also opened and managed sales offices throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. Matt has also lived and worked in 3 countries in Europe and started up and managed European sales offices for two US Software companies over the course of 6 years: He opened Primavera Systems sales office in France in 1992, and he opened Inso Corporation's European HQ in the UK in 1995, eventually expanding that to 3 additional countries during a 3 year period.
Matt's experience also includes responsibility for operations, PR/marketing, acquisitions, services and partner/channel management. He has an MBA from Thunderbird and a BA in Foreign Languages he speaks fluent German and is conversational in several other languages.
Director of Client Services
Jon Greene is a seasoned recruitment marketing strategist and relationship leader with an accomplished track record as both an agency and corporate executive. After holding senior client development roles for more than 12 years at JWT INSIDE and TMP on clients such as FedEx, Hilton Hotels and Edward Jones, he moved to the corporate side and launched the Employment Marketing function for Ameriprise Financial after they spun off from American Express. He then served as a VP there, first in the field sales organization over advisor recruiting and then in HR over enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition strategy, technology and operations before joining Jobs2web.
Jon has extensive experience in recruitment marketing planning and strategy, analytics, employer branding, employee engagement, sourcing, assessment and niche recruiting (i.e., sales, diversity and campus). With a reputation for being a thoughtful and innovative problem solver with strong cross-functional leadership experience, Jon's objective is to lead and motivate the Client Services team to deliver ongoing value and results, and develop effective, long term client partnerships.
Jon is a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Director of Professional Services
Pete Geherin leads Jobs2Web's Operations and has extensive Client Services, Operations and Sales experience. Pete spent 6 years at Digital River as the Group Vice President of Client Services and had direct responsibility for Global Project Management and the overall delivery of client-facing projects. While at Digital River, Pete designed, implemented and managed an implementation methodology called the Project Management Quality Plan, which was anchored in Six Sigma and CMMI, and was designed to drive process repeatability, scalability and predictability. Pete also played a key role in enterprise-wide project estimation, prioritization and capacity planning efforts. Prior to Digital River, Pete held several key Client Services leadership roles over a 6 year period with techies.com, a leading national technology career site.
Pete is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Public Affairs Management.
Director of Product Management
Peter Baskin leads Jobs2web's Corporate Marketing and Product Management. He brings over 15 years of Application Technology Strategy and Marketing experience to Jobs2Web and a successful track record with Retek Inc and Oracle. At Retek, Peter was a member of the executive team and provided the Marketing Leadership throughout the company's successful Initial Public Offering. After being acquired by Oracle, Peter provided ongoing leadership to position the newly acquired assets to compliment Oracle's products and technology. Peter's objectives at Jobs2web are to effectively communicate the Jobs2web value proposition to new and current clients and to insure new products and product enhancements "raise the bar" and help recruiters bring greater value to their business.
Peter holds a Masters degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern's School of Speech.
Director of Engineering
In his role as CTO, Pete Jacoby is responsible for Jobs2web's technology infrastructure and software development organizations. Pete brings a broad background to that position with a track record of success in software development and technology for the HR industry. Serving Fortune 1000 companies at Verifications, Inc., Pete was responsible for building systems that could scale aggressively in mission critical business areas. He's managed teams that have develop some of the industry's best in class applications for background investigations, drug screening and employe on-boarding. At Jobs2web, Pete's objectives are to insure that the technology our customers and employees use is scalable, dependable, usable and world-class.
Pete is a graduate of St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a concentration in Computer Science.
